ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

At undergraduate level:

Students seeking admission to the Part I of the three year degree course should have the following minimum qualifications:

• For Faculty of Arts (B. A. Part I):

A minimum of 45% marks in Senior Secondary exam of a recognized educational board.

• For Faculty of Science (B. Sc. Part I):

A minimum of 48% marks (it may be relaxed to 45% by the Govt. depending on the availability of seats) in Senior Secondary exam of a recognized educational board.

•  For Faculty of Commerce (B. Com. Part I):

 A minimum of  45 % marks in Senior Secondary exam of a recognized educational board.

At Post Graduate level

A minimum of 48% marks in graduation in the faculties of Arts & Commerce. 

A minimum of 55% marks in graduation in the faculty of Science.

Relaxation in Minimum Qualification:

A relaxation of   3% is given to the candidates belonging to the SC, ST & OBC categories as per Govt. rules.

Admissions are strictly according to merit.

For making merit list, some bonus marks are also given to students having other certificates of participation/achievement/, etc. See admission rules for details.
